The paint itself seemed to cover good but as it dried I noticed some strange vertical lines. Initially I thought it was exposing defects in the wall surface. I applied the 2nd coat at a diagonal to test. The lines, as it turns out, are the overlap areas when the roller is reloaded or just roller marks when blending the reloads. Though not as pronounced as the 1st coat you can see some of the surface “texture lines” in the photo after the 2nd coat, if you look closely. I can’t recall ever seeing that before. Also I experienced a lot of clots/chunks rolling on that had to be picked off and re-rolled. I don’t usually sieve my paint. This is a basement stairway, I figured a good place for its other properties, Antimicrobial, Self-cleaning, Odor Reducing. That’s something time will determine and if the paint is worth the cost and a better rating.
