1. Transport
Rethink how you travel to work, school, friends, shopping, etc. Walk or ride a bike whenever possible, take the train or bus instead of the car or motorcycle. If public transportation is not an option, then switch to an electric or hybrid vehicle (if possible). Reduce your CO2 footprint and get some free exercise.
2. Electricity
Change the lightbulbs in your home to LEDs. You could also get light bulbs that connect to a smart hub that automatically adjusts lights based on who’s home, time of day, and other needs. Another option is to install a smart climate control system, like Nest, to reduce unnecessary heating and cooling. You could also purchase energy efficient appliances at a slightly higher cost that will save you a lot of money in the long run. And finally, insulate windows and seal all air leaks so your heat doesn’t go right out the door.
3. Plastic
Don’t just recycle. Take action to refuse, reduce, and reuse in accordance with the Plastic Pollution Coalition principles. Say no to straws, plastic bags, plastic bottles, packaging, and other plastics. Invest in reusable water bottles, shopping bags, and coffee thermoses.
4. Paint
Give your walls a fresh color with our pollution reducing, self-cleaning, and antimicrobial paint. Our light activated paint can transform your walls into photocatalytic surfaces, preventing dirt from building up on its surfaces and purifying the air inside buildings, making it safer and healthier to breathe for you and your family. It is well known that people who live in urban environments suffer from more respiratory problems and even have a lower life expectancy than those living in rural areas because their air is not as clean. Our products will clean the air you breathe, improving your respiratory problems. All you need is light!
